If your R7M screen occasionally freezes during riding and only recovers after you turn the motorcycle off/on, we understand how frustrating that is—especially on longer trips.
This is a known software issue on certain firmware versions. Our team has been actively optimizing system stability, and the fix is delivered through an OTA firmware update.
What to Do
1) Check your firmware version
Go to Settings → About → Firmware Version.
2) Update to the latest firmware
This issue is resolved on firmware versions higher than v1.4.5.
If your device is running v1.4.5 or earlier, please update as soon as possible.
Important: OTA updates require an SD card to perform the system update. (Daily use does not require an SD card.)
