RiderNav units ship with two different protective films. This is normal and helps protect the screen during shipping and handling.
1) Black Protective Film (Outer Layer)
This is the temporary film used for shipping protection.
Remove before use ✅
2) Transparent Factory Film (Inner Layer)
This film is pre-applied at the factory.
You do not need to remove it — the R7M/R7X works perfectly with it in place ✅
If you’re installing a tempered glass protector, you can apply it directly on top of this transparent film ✅
If you prefer to remove it, that’s also fine — it won’t affect the device ✅
Tempered Glass Screen Protector (Not Pre-Installed)
