How to Customize TPMS Alert Thresholds and Resolve Blinking Warnings?

Updated this week

If your TPMS icon is flashing orange even though your tires are correctly inflated, it usually means your current pressure sits outside the device’s "High/Low Alarm Thresholds."

This is not a sensor or device malfunction. It simply indicates that your current tire pressure sits outside the factory-preset alarm thresholds. With a simple manual adjustment, you can perfectly calibrate the alert system to match your specific motorcycle and riding habits.

Solution

Step 1: Ensure Your Firmware is Up to Date

Before adjusting your custom settings, please ensure your device is running the latest system firmware (version v1.5.0 or higher). This update enhances the flexibility of TPMS customization.

Step 2: Adjust TPMS Alarm Thresholds

Once updated, follow these steps to recalibrate your pressure alarm range:

  1. Enter the TPMS Interface: Tap the TPMS icon on the home screen to enter the main tire pressure interface.

  2. Set Alarm Range: You will see the settings for High Pressure Alarm and Low Pressure Alarm. Manually adjust these values based on your specific tires and riding preferences.

    • Recommendation: We suggest setting the Low Pressure Alarm at -10% of your normal tire pressure and the High Pressure Alarm at +20% to +25% (to account for natural pressure increases as tires heat up during a ride).

  3. Apply: Once the thresholds are adjusted to match your bike's specifications, the orange blinking alert will clear immediately.
