Where to Find the Tail Light Wiring:
The tail light electrical harness is typically routed through one of these locations depending on your motorcycle model:
Inside the rear fender assembly
Behind or under the seat area
Adjacent to the tail light housing
Within the rear frame structure
Steps to Connect the R7X Yellow ACC Cable:
Access the tail light area – Remove your seat and any rear panels necessary to reach the tail light wiring bundle.
Locate the tail light housing – Find where the tail light connectors and wires are housed, and carefully expose the wiring.
Identify the power wire – Using a multimeter set to voltage mode, test the individual wires in the harness to locate the one that carries positive voltage to the tail light circuit. This is your ACC power source.
Connect the R7X yellow cable – Securely splice or crimp your R7X's yellow ACC cable to this identified power wire, following proper electrical safety practices.
