Both Spotlights Not Lighting Up, but Controller Indicator Is On

If both Q5 Pro spotlights are not lighting up while the controller indicator light is on, the issue is likely with the button switch extension cable connection.

What to Check

Check whether both plugs on the button switch extension cable are fully locked in place — one at the controller end, and one at the button switch end.

Loose or partially seated connectors on this cable will prevent the spotlights from receiving the signal to turn on, even though the controller itself is powered and its indicator light appears normal.

What to Do

  1. Turn off the ignition and disconnect power.

  2. Locate both ends of the button switch extension cable.

  3. Firmly press each plug into its socket until you feel the locking latch engage.

  4. Give each connector a gentle pull to confirm it will not separate.

  5. Restore power and test again.
