Some users may want to share the same music from RiderNav with a passenger’s helmet headset while riding.
Currently, RiderNav does not support directly sharing the same music stream to two separate Bluetooth headsets at the same time.
RiderNav works as a CarPlay / Android Auto display and mirrors content from your smartphone, including navigation, calls, and music. The audio routing is managed by your smartphone and helmet communication system. Since most smartphones can only transmit high-quality Bluetooth audio to one headset or intercom device at a time, connecting multiple headsets may cause audio conflicts or prevent music sharing from working properly.
Recommended Setup for Rider and Passenger
If you would like to communicate with your passenger or share audio while riding, we recommend using the sharing features provided by your helmet communication system.
Depending on your intercom brand and model, you may be able to use:
Intercom connection between rider and passenger
Music sharing or audio sharing functions provided by the headset manufacturer
In this case, the audio sharing is handled by the helmet communication system, not by RiderNav.
Example Setup for Some Intercom Systems
Some users have successfully used the following setup:
Rider’s phone → RiderNav via CarPlay / Android Auto
Rider’s headset → Rider’s phone
Passenger’s headset → Passenger’s phone or connected through the intercom system
Rider and passenger headsets → Connected through the helmet intercom function
With this setup, RiderNav provides navigation and smartphone integration, while the headset system manages communication and audio sharing.
Please note that this method may not work with all smartphone models, helmet intercom brands, or firmware versions.
