How do I get audio guidance on the R7M Display?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Audio Output via Bluetooth

The RiderNav R7M Display does not have a built-in speaker. To receive audio guidance, navigation prompts, or any other audio output from the device, you will need to connect an external Bluetooth headset or helmet communication system.

Setup Instructions:

  1. Turn on your Bluetooth headset or helmet intercom system

  2. On the R7M Display, navigate to Settings > Bluetooth

  3. Search for available devices and select your headset from the list

  4. Once paired, all audio (navigation instructions, phone calls, media) will be transmitted through your Bluetooth device

Compatible Devices:

  • Bluetooth motorcycle helmet headsets

  • Bluetooth intercom systems (e.g., Cardo, Sena)

  • Wireless earbuds designed for motorcycle use

  • Any standard Bluetooth audio device

Note: For the best riding experience, we recommend using a Bluetooth communication system specifically designed for motorcycle helmets, as these provide better wind noise reduction and audio quality at high speeds.
