Customs Duties & Tax Policy

Understanding the additional costs that may apply to your international order.

At RiderNav, product prices shown on RiderNav.com are tax-exclusive unless otherwise stated.
This means the prices displayed on our website generally do not include import taxes, customs duties, or local handling fees.

When No Additional Import Tax Is Usually Required

RiderNav currently ships from warehouses in China, Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Orders are fulfilled based on stock availability, and the system generally selects the nearest warehouse for faster delivery.

For orders shipped from our local warehouse to customers within that same market/region, there is usually no additional import tax or customs duty to be paid upon delivery. This typically includes:

  • EU orders shipped from our Germany warehouse

  • UK orders shipped from our UK warehouse

  • US orders shipped from our US warehouse

In these cases, customers normally do not need to pay extra import-related charges when the package arrives.

When Import Taxes Are the Customer’s Responsibility

For orders shipped to countries or regions outside our local warehouse coverage, or for orders fulfilled cross-border, import-related charges may still apply.

These charges may include:

  • VAT / GST or local sales tax

  • Import duties

  • Customs clearance or handling fees

These fees are determined by your local customs authority or courier, and are the customer’s responsibility.

Why Taxes Aren’t Included Upfront

Customs rules and tax rates vary by country and region, and in some cases even by product category. Because of this, RiderNav cannot always calculate and collect the exact amount in advance. Our current tax article already explains that these charges are set by local authorities and may only be assessed after the shipment reaches the destination country.

Customer Responsibilities

When placing an international order, please make sure to:

  • Review the product details and policy information before purchase

  • Provide a complete and accurate shipping address

  • Monitor tracking updates after shipment

  • Pay any required customs or courier fees if your order is subject to import charges

Please note: RiderNav is not responsible for packages returned due to:

  • unpaid customs duties or taxes

  • refusal to accept import charges

  • inability of the courier to contact the recipient
